Wool Slipper Care
Care Tip:
It's important to remember that over-washing can weaken the fibers, reducing the lifespan of your slippers. We recommend washing only when absolutely necessary. Wool has self-cleaning properties and can remain fresh-smelling even without washing. The first line of defense against soil is brushing off soil or spot cleaning, then full washing only if necessary.
* Please note boiled wool is a more delicate fiber than felted wool.
Wool Washing Instructions:
* Removable wool insoles should be removed and washed separately. If the insole is cork, it must be removed before washing.
- Wool slippers should be washed in cold water by hand or on a delicate cycle with Woolite or other delicate detergents.
- Reshape the slipper and air dry completely.
- Wash sparingly; only wash when spot cleaning is not enough.
-
You can extend the life of your slipper by storing them in a breathable cloth shoe bag, opting to spot clean and keeping full washing to a minimum.
